The ethno complex "Kneževi konaci" and the restaurant "Kneževa večera" are located 20 kilometers from Šabac, towards Valjevo. In Kneževi konaci, where the beautiful ambience of the Serbian village from the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century was revived, there is the restaurant Kneževa večera. It is located in an area of great natural beauty, rich in cultural and historical monuments. Nearby is the monastery of Kaona, famous for its architectural beauty, blended into the mysterious shade of a deciduous forest, dotted with springs of miraculous water.
The wider environment is rich in places for walking in untouched nature, with a lot of game, from deer to wild pigs and rabbits and various birds. The abundance of water also provides a kind of pleasure to fishermen. In the area it is possible to get all kinds of agricultural products, but also to order a winter store prepared according to old recipes. The menu at the Knezeva vecera is tailored to the traditional taste of visitors to Serbian taverns. There are different types of soups, pihtije, appetizers made of cured meat delicacies, goulash, tripe, barbecue variations, surprises under the sac, and of course, what Kbnezeva vecera is famous for, lamb from the spit. All this is accompanied by buns, cakes, proje and flatbreads, homemade cream and cheese, fresh vegetable salads, pickles ... And when there is already a good meal, order homemade juice or brandy.
